"In Kurdish areas of Turkey, fear and destruction have returned as facts of life after government offensives leveled parts of rebellious cities."

It is true that fear and destruction have returned to the Kurdish cities of Turkey.

News of loss of life is heard on a daily basis. Apart from the loss of life, thousands have been displaced. Even though there is this huge destruction, Turkey can be described as "divided."

Divided as the realities of the "East" and the "West" do not touch upon each other. Divided as there is no attempt to heal each other, cooperate with each other.

This lack of cooperation, lack of dialogue enhances the remoteness that has been evident.

In Neynik, we aim to contribute to the knowledge on peace journalism and demonstrate examples that can be useful for the students of journalism and journalists to embrace.

We think that Kingsley's work is important and precious as it reports in a way that overcomes

polarization and tries to explain the reasons and the emotions that lies beyond the conflict.

He starts his words by underlining the process and giving a balanced account of the "sides" and underlining their emotions and fears.

To sum, Patrick Kingsley in his article Turkey's Wars, our opinion has done a great deal in creating a balanced text on the ongoing conflict in Turkey.
